Biographical Sketch:Board certified in Internal Medicine (1995, 2005) and Rheumatology (1999). He was trained at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio. He received a Master's degree in Epidemiology at Case Western Reserve University in 2001.In 2003, he received a 5-year Career Development Award (K 23) from the National Institute of Health (NIH) that focuses on ethnic disparity in the use of joint arthroplasty. In the past 4 years, he has presented abstracts annually in the American College of Rheumatology meeting, and has published several pain/symptom related manuscripts. He has been with I.U. Division of Rheumatology since June 2001. Within the rheumatology division, he serves as a research mentor for clinical fellows in training.
