Biographical Summary:
Dr. Morris joined the Indiana University School of Medicine as an intern in 1965 following graduation from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. During his career with Indiana University, he has had extensive teaching assignments and has served on several university committees. He also has served as the principle investigator for research involving arrhythmia and coronary disease research.
Dr. Morris has supervised the Regenstrief Heart Clinic at Wishard Memorial Hospital, Indianapolis, for more than 25 years and also has been a staff member of the University Hospital, Hendricks Regional Health, Methodist Hospital, and Clarian West, all in Indianapolis. Prior to his affiliation with Indiana University, he served as the Chief of Internal Medicine at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, KS.
With more than 30 research and teaching publications to his credit, and through extensive teaching and professional contributions to the profession, Dr. Morris has earned the distinction of clinical professor emeritus of medicine.
