The Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology service of Indiana University's Cardiology Division and Krannert Institute of Cardiology has been a national and international leader in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of heart rhythm disturbances for almost a half-century. Some of the pivotal discoveries in causes, mechanisms and treatment of arrhythmias originated here. The physicians of the Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology service have extensive experience in management of all types of arrhythmia problems, from simple to extremely complex, and several are nationally and internationally recognized for their expertise. They receive referrals locally as well as from surrounding states and throughout the country.
